Your Buy Sell Tracker Account
Your email address and password are used to identify your account and protect access to your business records.
Account and security options are available from the Settings section after signing in.
Your email address is important for account access, verification, password recovery, and other account-related messages.
Password security
Change Your Password
If you are already signed in and want to update your password, open Settings and use the Change Password option.
Follow the prompts to confirm your current password and enter your new password.
Your new password must meet the password requirements shown by Buy Sell Tracker.
Avoid reusing a password that you use for another website or service.
After the password change is completed, use the new password the next time you sign in.
Email settings
Change Your Email Address
Your account email address can be changed from the Settings section.
Enter the new email address and complete the requested confirmation steps.
Buy Sell Tracker checks that the new email address is not already assigned to another account.
If the new email address matches the email already assigned to your account, there is nothing to update.
When the email change is accepted, Buy Sell Tracker provides confirmation that the account email has been updated.
Email verification
Verify Your Email Address
Buy Sell Tracker requires your email address to be verified before normal access to the application is available.
After registration or when verification is otherwise required, Buy Sell Tracker sends a verification message to the email address associated with your account.
Open the verification message and follow the verification link to confirm that you have access to the email address.
If you do not receive an expected verification message, first confirm that the email address entered for the account is correct and check your spam or junk mail folder.
Password recovery
Reset a Forgotten Password
If you cannot remember your password, use the forgotten password option from the Buy Sell Tracker login page.
Enter the email address associated with your account and follow the password reset instructions sent to that address.
The reset process allows you to create a new password without needing to know your existing password.
Only use password reset links that you requested, and do not share password reset messages or links with anyone else.
After successfully resetting your password, return to the login page and sign in using the new password.

Protecting Your Account
Buy Sell Tracker uses account security safeguards, but protecting your login information is also an important part of keeping your account secure.
- Use a strong password that you do not reuse on other websites.
- Do not share your password with other people.
- Keep access to your account email secure.
- Sign out when using a shared or public computer.
- Change your password if you believe someone else may know it.
Change your password as soon as possible and contact Buy Sell Tracker support if you believe someone may have accessed your account without permission.
Ending your session
Sign Out of Buy Sell Tracker
When you are finished using Buy Sell Tracker, use the Log Out option to end your authenticated session.
Signing out is especially important when using a computer or device that other people can access.
Use the application's Log Out option when you want to intentionally end your Buy Sell Tracker session.
